This Privacy Notice explains how OrganoBit BioIntelligence Pte. Ltd. and its affiliates, including OrganoBit Inc, collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use our websites, platform experiences, research workflows, marketplace features, communications, events, and related services.

OrganoBit builds intelligence infrastructure for organoid science, including protocol intelligence, analytics, simulation, marketplace, and collaboration workflows. This Notice applies to personal information connected to those services. Research data, experimental data, and uploaded scientific content are also addressed below because they may sometimes contain personal information or confidential information.

We collect information that you provide directly, information generated when you use the Services, and information received from service providers, partners, or public sources where permitted.

  • Identity and contact information, such as name, email address, organization, role, country, phone number, billing details, and mailing address.
  • Account information, such as login identifiers, authentication provider details, account preferences, profile details, saved settings, and security events.
  • Communications information, such as messages submitted through contact forms, support requests, newsletter preferences, survey responses, event registrations, and business inquiries.
  • Marketplace and transaction information, such as cart activity, checkout intent, order details, payment status, shipping details, tax information, and supplier or partner interactions.
  • Platform usage information, such as pages viewed, feature usage, clicks, referring URLs, browser type, device type, IP address, approximate location, timestamps, logs, diagnostics, and session analytics.
  • Research and scientific information, such as protocols, notes, uploaded files, datasets, experimental metadata, analysis outputs, simulation inputs, and other content you choose to submit to OrganoBit workflows.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, including analytics identifiers, session replay events, preference cookies, and other browser or device identifiers.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to operate, secure, improve, and communicate about the Services, and to comply with legal and contractual obligations.

  • Provide, maintain, personalize, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.
  • Create and manage accounts, authentication, support, subscriptions, waitlists, newsletters, and user preferences.
  • Process marketplace activity, payments, orders, invoices, taxes, fulfillment, refunds, and related operational communications.
  • Analyze usage, measure performance, understand user journeys, test features, and improve product quality.
  • Protect the Services, detect abuse, prevent fraud, enforce terms, audit security events, and investigate suspicious activity.
  • Respond to questions, provide support, manage business relationships, and send administrative or service-related messages.
  • Send product, research, event, and marketing communications where permitted, with opt-out choices where required.
  • Comply with law, legal process, regulatory obligations, accounting requirements, and requests from public authorities where legally valid.

4. Research Data and Confidential Scientific Content

You retain ownership of research data, experimental results, scientific files, protocols, and other content you submit to the Services, subject to any separate written agreement with OrganoBit.

OrganoBit uses submitted content only as needed to provide, secure, support, analyze, and improve the Services, or as otherwise authorized by you or an applicable agreement. We do not publicly disclose your non-public research data without permission.

We may create aggregated or de-identified information from usage, performance, and research workflow data to improve our Services, develop benchmarks, or understand platform reliability, provided the resulting information does not identify you, your organization, or confidential research content.

5. How We Disclose Information

We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not disclose your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing without your consent. We may disclose information in the circumstances below.

  • Service providers and processors that support hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, authentication, email delivery, payment processing, marketplace operations, support, security, and business systems.
  • Marketplace, logistics, payment, or supplier partners where needed to complete a transaction or respond to your request.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, banks, and legal, tax, compliance, or accounting providers.
  • Authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law, legal process, enforceable request, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfer parties in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
  • Other parties with your consent, at your direction, or as described when the information is collected.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Services working, remember preferences, measure performance, understand how users navigate the site, improve content, and protect against abuse.

OrganoBit may use analytics and session-replay technologies to understand aggregate usage patterns and product behavior. You can control cookies through browser settings, device settings, and any cookie controls we make available. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.

OrganoBit operates globally through entities and infrastructure connected to Singapore, the United States, Hong Kong, and other locations where we or our service providers operate. No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, receive a copy of, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California where applicable, may have additional rights to know what categories of personal information are collected, used, disclosed, or shared; request deletion or correction; obtain portability; opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising; and avoid discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

11. Singapore PDPA

As a Singapore-headquartered company, OrganoBit BioIntelligence Pte. Ltd. handles personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 where applicable.

12. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and most OrganoBit platform services are intended for professional, research, institutional, or business users who are at least 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact privacy@organobit.bio.

13. Third-Party Services

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, payment providers, authentication tools, marketplaces, analytics services, supplier systems, or research resources. Those third parties may process information under their own terms and privacy notices. OrganoBit is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that we do not control.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the Last updated date and, where required, provide additional notice or obtain consent. Continued use of the Services after an update means the revised Notice applies going forward.
